2009Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Award

The Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards have been presented annually to products and books that have "jolted" the industry with their significance and made the task of creating software faster, easier, and more efficient. Why it's growing: Software piracy is rampant; according to the research firm IDG, piracy led to an estimated $40 billion in lost revenue for software makers in 2006, up from $34 billion in 2005.
