CERIAS
Arxan maintains a close working relationship with the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS). This close relationship guarantees up-to-date access to the latest ideas and research in the field of InfoSec, as well as access to a talent pool that Arxan Labs can draw from in order to quickly add additional staff if the project plan requires staffing beyond that of our permanent staff. This also ensures higher quality results in that a project will not be completed by a team of unaffiliated "remote and independent" consultants, rather, they will all be located on-site allowing effective project management and quality control.
CERIAS is currently viewed as one of the world's leading centers for research and education in areas of information security that are crucial to the protection of critical computing and communication infrastructure. CERIAS is unique among such national centers in its multidisciplinary approach to the problems, ranging from purely technical issues (e.g., intrusion detection, network security, etc) to ethical, legal, educational, communicational, linguistic, and economic issues, and the subtle interactions and dependencies among them. The mission of CERIAS is to advance the knowledge and practice of information assurance and security through the performance of world-class research, the delivery of the highest quality education, and by serving as an unbiased source of information locally, nationally, and internationally.

Uniloc
Uniloc USA is the technology leader in electronic physical device recognition for software copy control and information security. The core technology driving Uniloc innovation is Physical Device Fingerprinting, the company’s patented method of uniquely identifying a user device, such as a PC, game console, smart phone or cell phone, by the naturally occurring, inherent physical imperfections of that device, and then incorporating that physical device fingerprint into licenses or access credentials. Uniloc is the inventor and holder of the seminal physical device locking patent (U.S. 5,490,216) and has 15 related patents pending. Uniloc has applied its Physical Device Fingerprinting technical expertise to several vertical markets, including software publishing, government network access control, online banking and trading, and CD/DVD anti-theft.
Node locking is an often overlooked cornerstone of an overall IP protection strategy and binding software to a node, to prevent piracy, is a critical yet challenging problem. Arxan’s partnership provides a strong, multi-layer solution, with GuardIT to fortify each individual layer and then further bind each layer tightly within itself and the overall application, ensuring that software remains secure .
